ABOUT US

With our staff having over 50 seasons of Pro Hockey experience, we believe Great Lakes Hockey Camp will provide some of the best training in the country, on and off the ice. From our morning sessions that will be devoted to proper skating technique and our daily skill drills, to the small area competitive games in the afternoon, GLHC will give our campers every opportunity to improve their skill sets and reach their full potential.

The best hockey players do it right on and off the ice. Thats why we will spend quality time teaching off ice training. We will show our campers what dry land drills and training we have found most beneficial in our careers. But what will separate our camp from others is the time we will spend talking about the mental side of the game. Some topics we will cover during our daily discussion will be how to handle adversity, how to handle success, being a good teammate, and the importance of having good habits in your life. From being a better student, to the importance of nutrition… it will be covered at Great Lakes Hockey.

Great Lakes Hockey is led by the assistant coach of the Rockford IceHogs in the American Hockey League, Jared Nightingale and current 12 year pro hockey player, Terry Broadhurst.
