Mike is the ultimate team player. One of the most unselfish I have ever coached. He’s a winner

Michael Leone- Dearborn, Michigan
Western Michigan University 2010-13
Retired Pro Hockey Player

Head Coach of the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL

We are very fortunate to have someone with Mikes credentials join the GLH staff. Growing up in Detroit, Mike has had quite the journey throughout his career. Winning seems to follow Leone with multiple championships including at the Junior level and a CCHA title with the Broncos at Western Michigan in 2012. Leone retired from the game and is now the Head Coach of the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL.

Having played for some of the top coaches in the world including a year with Jeff Blashill (Detroit Red Wings Head Coach) and three years with Jon Cooper (Tampa Bay Lightning Head Coach), Mike has learned from some of the best on what it takes to be a winner and better teammate. He looks forward to sharing this knowledge with the GLH campers.

"Mike is the ultimate team guy. There is no secret with his resume that he is a winner. I can't wait for the kids to learn firsthand from him that being a great hockey player begins off the ice... with your character"
